You Only Underestimate Kobold Shieldmaidens... Once.
The party travels north to seek out kobold females to join their mine partnership. They'd heard rumours that a band of kobold shieldmaidens were harrying some goblins. Rather than deal with the kobolds themselves, they hired muscle to 'eradicate the vermin'. The monster heroes enter the goblin valley and discover signs that the shieldmaidens may be in danger and rush to their aid. Instead they become bait in the kobold's trap to lure out their gnoll hunters. Four tough shieldmaiden kobolds come to the party's rescue and together they defeat the gnoll mercenaries.
